Power Broth Blend
A new herbal and mushroom broth blend for making soups and nourishing broths at home. We've pre-measured our favorite aromatic herbs, spices, & medicinal mushrooms so that you can throw the whole bag into a stockpot or slow cooker and make the process super easy.
ORGANIC INGREDIENTS: SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS, HIMALAYAN PINK SALT, CHAGA MUSHROOM, CODONOPSIS, GINGER, TURMERIC, ROSEMARY, THYME, OREGANO, BAY LEAF & BLACK PEPPERCORNS
Other ingredients you could add to the mix:
- Reishi Slices
- Astragalus chunks
- Bones from Meats & Poultry
Recipe & Suggested Use:
Add one full bag (or desired amount) to a slow cooker or large stockpot and cover with about 6 quarts of water (or enough water to fill within 3 inches below the top rim of the pot). Allow to cook on high for at least one hour, stirring occasionally. Turn down to a low simmer, cover, and cook for another 6 to 8 hours. We recommend using a slow cooker for best results.
Pro Tip: Add a tablespoon or two of Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon Juice to provide an acid component and help extract even more minerals and vitamins from the mushrooms.
Note for Pressure Cookers: Reduce time as needed, we suggest between 90 and 120 minutes in most InstaPots and similar cookers.
Once your broth is ready you can use it as a base for soups, ramens, and more. Consider freezing into ice cube trays or other non-breakable containers for broth all season long!
